Anyone had a review or reassessment for Self Directed Support Direct payments ? Ie what exactly happened? Was the budget level affected? As had this email and don’t understand it?
(The reasons budget has not been used is due to their lack of flexibility restrictions and my child’s care needs have not changed since 3 years ago when the full assessment was done)
"Due to the length of time the budget has not been in use we are required to reassess. Your childs needs may have changed ( I appreciate the information you have already sent over) and we want to ensure we are reflecting their needs within the process.
This will be a review so should be less time consuming than the initial assessment, as we already hold lots of information. This process is not something you should be fearful of.
I am happy to meet with you again is this would assist?"
