Cannot believe this situation regarding hot tub purchase from direct payment for my son has been going on for do long.I am at the stage i do not know where to go with the lack of support ftom my LA.Have been.in tears todsy trying to deal with this
Cannot believe how difficult it is to get something sorted with self direct support. 
I know this is not going to answer the SDS issue, but have you thought about trying to access the necessary funding elsewhere, for example, a grant from a charity/charitable trust?
I did look into that but i couldn’t find anything in the area where my son fits the criteria due to his age (28) seemed to be accessible for children.
